Only the lower floors of the famous tower were visible, while its spire retreated into the mist, as if trying to elude view and preserve its mystery. I was privileged to capture not only her outward beauty, but also this quiet, almost spiritual moment—the connection between people, city, and atmosphere. Not a smile for the record, but genuine emotions, captured in the early morning chill.
Paris as you rarely see it
„It felt like the city belonged only to me,“ Laura later recounted. And that’s exactly what’s reflected in the pictures. The silence that’s almost tangible. The soft light of the first rays of sunlight making its way through the fog. The empty esplanade of Trocadéro, without hustle and bustle, without rush – just Laura, the Eiffel Tower, and the moment.

Es gibt Momente, die sich wie aus einem Film anfühlen. Momente, in denen Zeit und Raum stillzustehen scheinen, in denen das Licht sanft mit dem Nebel tanzt und die Stadt der Liebe ihren ganz eigenen Zauber entfaltet. Genau so ein Moment war es, den sich Laura in Paris gegönnt hat – bei einem ganz besonderen Portrait-Shooting, das sie für immer in Erinnerung behalten wird.
Ein Shooting in der Stille des Morgengrauens
Paris erwacht langsam, wenn der Tag gerade beginnt, und die Straßen noch still sind. Die Touristenmassen haben sich noch nicht auf den Weg gemacht, und selbst die hartgesottenen Einheimischen schlummern meist noch in ihren Wohnungen. Genau zu dieser Stunde stand Laura auf dem berühmten Platz Trocadéro, die Kamera bereit, das Herz leicht aufgeregt.
Der Eiffelturm erhob sich majestätisch vor ihr – oder zumindest das, was man davon sehen konnte. Dicht war der Morgennebel, als hätte jemand einen Schleier über die Stadt gelegt. Nur die unteren Etagen des berühmten Turms waren sichtbar, während sich seine Spitze in den Nebel zurückzog, als wollte sie sich dem Blick entziehen und das Geheimnisvolle bewahren.
Laura, in einem eleganten Mantel, die Haare vom leichten Wind zerzaust, stand mitten auf dem Platz. Ich durfte nicht nur ihre äußere Schönheit einfangen, sondern auch diesen stillen, fast spirituellen Moment – die Verbindung zwischen Mensch, Stadt und Atmosphäre. Nach dem stillen, atmosphärischen Auftakt ging es weiter in ein kleines Café – eine dieser typischen Pariser Brasserien mit kleinen runden Tischen, roten Samtstühlen und Spiegeln an den Wänden. Noch war es früh, aber das Café war bereits geöffnet, und die ersten Gäste genossen ihr Frühstück oder einen Espresso an der Bar.
Laura setzte sich mit einem Glas französischen Rotweins an einen Tisch. Draußen begann Paris langsam zu leben – Menschen eilten zur Arbeit, Fahrräder klingelten, der Bäcker gegenüber füllte seine Auslage. Drinnen jedoch herrschte eine andere Zeitrechnung. Eine Zeit, in der man sich zurücklehnt, ein gutes Glas Wein genießt und einfach ist.
Diese Fotos strahlen eine ganz andere Wärme aus. Laura lacht, hebt das Glas leicht zur Kamera, ein Hauch von verschmitzter Eleganz in ihrem Blick.
